My Background
I grew up in the city of dreams, Mumbai, in India and went to Rural Medical School, Maharashtra, India. I moved to England in 2008 after I met my husband. I lived in England for nearly 13 years before crossing the Atlantic. I completed my training in the Northwest of England and worked there as a Family Physician.
I moved to Nanaimo with my husband and 2 children. I am in awe of the beauty and serenity that fills the Island, Nanaimo, and its surroundings. I enjoy the great outdoors and the better work-life balance the island has to offer.
I enjoy cooking, travelling and spending time with my family.
Experience
I have a number of years of experience working in Internal Medicine, Anaesthetics and Intensive Care. During my training as a Family Physician in the UK I had experience in Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Family Practice. Before moving to Nanaimo, I was working as a fully trained Family Physician in England since 2019.
Professionally, I am interested in women’s health, palliative medicine and chronic disease management. I am thrilled to be working alongside a wonderful team at Caledonian Clinic.
